Well since we don’t have tons of posts on your blog since we are so lazy and don’t have the time to edit our pictures and get them up on our blog….Hey we are students studying Chinese 20 hours a week. I figured I’d write a little bit about our title. Well we chose our title to our blog because it basically defines Ramon and I’s relationship. We met at school atBYU-ID working through security in the library. I remember Ramon from our training meeting we had when work started that semester, and though he was pretty cute. As always when we get the list of people to work with….I always facebook stocked people to see what they looked like:) But anyways I worked with Ramon one shift out of the week and at first we kind of didn’t get each other completely and so we didn’t really like each other at first because someone would say something sarcastically and not understand if they were being serious or just really rude…hhahah! One time Ramon was at another desk and I called to ask him a question about when the tutoring center closed and after he answered my question, I said to him “Well your not saying much, so I’m just going to hang up.” And Ramon replied, “Good I didn’t want to talk to you anyways.” Me on the other line thought okay and hung up, thinking wow he’s mean…
Later on though of course I realized he was just joking with me. Around January when Chinese New Year’s came around my parents were moving to China and Ramon and I got on the topic of chinese and how much I miss good asian food living in little Rexburg with nasty New Fong’s! And so he said well this next week is a Chinese New Year’s party at a teacher on campus who is from Shanghai and asked if I wanted to come. I said sure, I dressed up super cute that night and we went to the party. Afterwards, we talked so much about different things at school. He was kind of interested in a girl that we worked with and I knew there was no way I could compete. I had a lot of fun though that night, and thought he was super fun and cute. So then that whole week I still made the effort to go and talk to you him at work. I woke up super early on a Tuesday before work, and dressed up and went to go talk to him on his morning shift which ran until 9.

We started talking and seeing each other on campus then when I would leave he started giving me hugs…and I was like why is he giving me hugs if he likes that other girl. Then he asked me out that Friday, I said I was super super busy that week with this paper for a class that was like 7 pages. But to give him a rain check. But I ended up going out with him that Friday. We wore sweats to dinner at wingers, which was super fun cause I probably would have been uncomfortable eating in skinny jeans. We then went to my house and hung out, and then said goodnight.

Soon after that we were dating and the rest is history from there. The thing I love about Ramon and the quality that definitely stuck out as a sore thumb, was his quirkiness. Ramon and I are seriously two peas in a pod, we just get each other, and he gets me in a way I think other people would find me weird..hahah. And that’s why our title is Room 4 squares, because we are two married students who goof off all the time(as you can see by the picture;) making fun of each other and not caring what others think of us. I’m so blessed and happy that I have Ramon in my life, he has made me grow in ways I could have never done by myself. He makes me be the best that I can be and makes me accomplish more than than I know anyone else could help me accomplish. I love my best friend and I know that as life throws trials at us, that we as friends will stand strong because of the love we share for each other. I love you Ramon.
